Our log home in Central Pennsylvania, sits on the side of a mountain. Hense, the name N-M (North Mountain) Homestead.
We are just getting started in the miniature donkey business. We have a spotted, future herdsire and we are working on putting our jennets together.
Steph has been showing Quarter Horses since she was 8 years old. Trent and the kids, Ty and Taylor are involved in the Rodeo.
Ty, who is 11 years old, saw a picture of a spotted miniature donkey and stated with certainty, "I am going to buy him!" Four weeks later, Ty bought Teddy with his own hard earned money. From that point, we were hooked. We bought a dark brown/black jennet and when Grandma saw them, she had to have her own set of two spotted brood jennets to add to the herd.
Do I foresee Grandma being a partner??? She is already thinking about farm names!
We plan to specialize in the spotted and dark colors. Our goal is to breed for a black and white spotted and eventually show miniature donkeys. We will also have quality donkeys for sale at all times, ranging from foal to adult. Our donkeys will be of superior quality with good pedigrees.
Donkeys from N-M will always have great attitudes, great pedigrees and of course, SPOILED ROTTEN!
